Himalayan wild cherry oil is found in the high altitudes of the Himalayas between 1,800 and 3’000 metres. The wild cherry shrubs are grown in sunny glades in the forest. It is rich in Omega 6 & 9, high in Oleic & Linoleic acids and features important fatty acids for glossy, healthy hair and skin. We love working with this oil as it’s made with our tribal farmers who earn a sustainable income through harvesting. The oil is produced from hand-picked wild fruits matured from May to June. Seeds are then laid out for sun drying then cold-pressed to extract the oil, a process which preserves its nutrients.

Rosehip Seed Oil
Rosehip grows wild in the Himalayan Mountains where it has been used by the native people for centuries. Ours is still harvested by tribal farmers. This age defying oil is a natural source of Vitamins A & C, boosts cellular renewal, collagen production and fades sun damage. Recent studies have proven its ability to contribute to the reduction and prevention of wrinkles and age spots. APRICOT KERNEL OIL
Apricot kernel oil (Prunus Armeniaca) is obtained from the seeds of apricot fruits by cold pressing and filtration. Rich in gamma linoleic acid (GLA) and vitamins, this oil is considered to be non–comedogenic and beneficial to all skin types including aged skin, sensitive skin and dry and inflamed skin.

CASTOR SEED OIL
The castor bean or castor-oil-plant (Ricans Communis) is a species of flowering plant in the spurge family, Euphorbiaceae. Its seed is the castor bean, which, despite its name, is not a true bean. Castor is indigenous to the southeastern Mediterranean Basin, Eastern Africa, and India, but is widespread throughout tropical regions. When used in cosmetics and skin care, castor seed oil works as a skin conditioning, cleansing and emulsifying agent.
CERA ALBA BEESWAX
A natural wax produced in the bee hive of honey bees of the genus Apis. White Beeswax is made by a simple, non–chemical bleaching process. It is commonly used as a thickener, emulsifier and structuring agent in personal care products.
A fatty alcohol that is commonly derived from plant oils such as Palm or Coconut. It has a wax–like texture and is used in creams and lotions for its emulsifying, emollient and thickening properties.
CETYL ALCOHOL (DERIVED FROM PLANTS)
A fatty alcohol derived from plants (palm oil-palmityl alcohol) Cetyl Alcohol comes in the form of a white, waxy solid and Works as an emollient, emulsifier, thickener and carrying agent for other ingredients contained in a cosmetic solution. As a thickening agent and surfactant, it helps alter the viscosity and increase the foaming capacity of non-aqueous (i.e. lotions) and aqueous solutions (i.e. shampoo). Cetyl Alcohol is well known to effectively condition and soften the skin and hair.
A lipid and sterol (unsaturated solid alcohol present in fatty tissue) that is plant derived. It comes in the form of a naturally waxy fat-like substance. Cholesterol works as a skin conditioner, thickening agent, stabilizer and water binding agent. Because the skin’s natural lipid barrier comprises of cholesterol, this ingredient helps maintain proper functioning in the epidermis by retaining moisture levels and regulating cell activity. It works to strengthen the outer structure of the skin and protect it from dehydration.
Citral is known to have strong antimicrobial properties. It naturally occurs in pure essential oils such as Lemon, Lime, Lemongrass and Orange.
Exists in a variety of fruits and vegetables, most notably citrus fruits. Lemons and Limes have particularly high concentrations of the acid. Citric acid is used to optimize the pH of a formulation as well as help to refine and renew skin texture. Coco Glucoside/Glyceryl Oleate blend is based on natural vegetable feedstock: Coconut Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Sunflower Oil and Maize. It is an alkyl polyglycoside and fatty acid monoglyceride composite that is used in the development of body cleansing preparations. This ingredient is known to enhance lipid layers, improve viscosity and foaming, condition and moisturize the skin and hair. It is mild to skin and biodegradable.
Coconut Alkanes is the product obtained from the complete reduction and hydrogenation of a mixture of fatty acids derived from Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil. It is classified as a solvent emollient and provides a smooth feel whilst improving spread-ability.
COCUS NUCIFERA (COCONUT) OIL
Coconut oil is a natural oil extracted from the meat of the coconut fruit .There are many benefits of coconut oil for the skin. Because the lauric acid in coconut oil has anti-bacterial properties, research suggests it may be an effective tool in the fight against acne. In addition, coconut oil has moisturizing properties and is a good hair conditioner because it coats the hair shaft and helps it hold on to moisture. It also appears to be useful for the prevention and treatment of dandruff due to its anti-fungal properties.
COMMIPHORA MUKUL RESIN EXTRACT
Commiphora Mukul Resin Extract is an extract of the resin of Commiphora mukul taken from India’s Mukul Myrrh tree. It is classified as tonic skin conditioning but also shows benefits on skin firmness when applied topically.
COMMIPHORA MYRRHA (MYRRH) EXTRACT
Extracted from Commiphora Myrrha of the Burseraceae family, Myrrh extract has a warm musty smell with a pale yellow to amber colour. Used in ancient medicine and cosmetics, it is an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial and is used with great success on boils, skin ulcers, bedsores, chapped and cracked skin, weeping wounds, acne and eczema.
COPERNICIA CERIFERA (CANAUBA) WAX
Is known as “queen of waxes” and in its pure state, usually comes in the form of hard yellow-brown flakes. It is obtained from the leaves of the carnauba palm by collecting and drying them, beating them to loosen the wax, then refining and bleaching the wax. In cosmetics plant waxes such as canauba wax are used in the formulation a wide range of products. They help to keep an emulsion from separating into its oil and liquid components, especially in cosmetics and personal care products that require a creamy consistency.

A clear to pale yellow liquid that has a spicy clove-like aroma. Eugenol, a naturally occurring substance found in many plants, is used to make fragrances and flavors. Farnesol is a colorless, oily liquid with a delicate sweet odor that has a long history of use in perfumery. FRUIT EXTRACT (VITAMIN E)
Fruit extract is commonly used to heal parched and dehydrated skin. Vitamin E or alpha-tocopherol is a fat-soluble antioxidant that is predominantly found in green leafy vegetables, nuts and seeds, seafood, and fruits. Vitamin E acts as a moisturizer, reverses premature aging, treats sunburn and stretch marks and lightens dark spots. It also can be used for hair health, preventing split ends and premature greying as well as stimulating hair growth and creating visually more lustrous hair.
Geraniol is a monoterpenoid and an alcohol. It is the primary part of rose oil, palmarosa oil, and citronella oil. It also occurs in small quantities in geranium, lemon, and many other essential oils. It appears as a clear to pale-yellow oil that is insoluble in water, but soluble in most common organic solvents. It has a rose-like scent and is commonly used in perfumes.

In the manufacturing of natural glycerin, crude glycerin is produced by first refining and condensing an aqueous solution obtained from hydrolysis of Coconut or Palm Oil, then further distilling and refining the solution until arriving at the finished product. HIBISCUS SABDARIFFA FLOWER EXTRACT
An extract of the flowers of the Red Sorrel Grown in India. In Ayurveda, hibiscus is known as Jaswand or Jabakusum depending on specific towns. HIMALAYAN WILD CHERRY OIL
A genus of trees that bears fruit which look like a cherry. The various species, Pinsepia Utilis, grow largely in Nepal, India, China, Bangladesh, and Taiwan. It is very effective when used in skincare and especially beneficial when used to treat skin conditions such as eczema.
HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL
Vegetable Oil is an expressed oil of vegetable origin consisting primarily of triglycerides of fatty acids. The addition of hydrogen atoms to Vegetable Oil results in Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil. Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil slows the loss of water from the skin by forming a barrier on the skin’s surface, helping to keep the skin hydrated.

Hydrogenated Castor Oil is an amber colored, slightly viscous liquid that has a naturally mildly fatty odor. It is used in cosmetics and beauty products as an emulsifier, surfactant, and fragrance ingredient.

HYDROLYZED CORN STARCH
Hydrolyzed corn starch is obtained by the hydrolysis of corn starch by the action of acids or enzymes and is classified as viscosity controlling and skin conditioning.
HYDROLYZED WHEAT PROTEIN
A low-molecular weight protein derived from soft wheat. It provides amino acids & high glutamine levels to skin and hair as well as other properties that help to increase firmness of the skin, nourish and soften hair and make hair appear more volumized. ORCHID FRUIT EXTRACT
Vanilla planifolia is a tropical orchid, which is a native of Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. Vanilla planifolia is the only member of the orchid family that is grown and harvested on an industrial scale. The pods of the vanilla planifolia are harvested and dried. They are then used to produce natural vanilla flavoring and scent. The extract is used primarily as a fragrance and flavoring agent. The vanilla plant is a source of catechins (also known as polyphenols), which have antioxidant activity and serve as anti-inflammatory agents.

A type of lipid composed of glycerol, fatty acids, and phosphate. Phospholipids are derived from various sources including soy bean oil and egg yolks. Phospholipids are essential to the function of cell membranes by providing a stable surrounding structure. In cosmetics, phospholipids are often used as natural emulsifiers or for encapsulation of sensitive benefit agents.
PHRAGMITES COMMUNIS HERB EXTRACT
Phragmites communis is an impressive Chinese herb with medicinal value. The main medicinal parts of this herb are its roots (Lu Gen) and stems (Wei Jing), which have very similar medicinal properties since they come from the same plant. It is known for is high antioxidative properties.
An ester of Capric Acid and Polyglycerin-4 and a natural emulsifier and solublizer. Polyglyceryl-4 is a skin conditioning agent that has a positive influence on skin structure.
POMEGRANATE SEED OIL
Pomegranate, Punica Granatum, is an ancient fruit with exceptionally rich ethno medical applications. It contains high levels of polyphenols. In studies pomegranate seed oil was shown to stimulate keratinocyte proliferation thereby promoting regeneration of epidermis, helping to repair skin and even out the skin tone.
PORIA COCOS EXTRACT
A premium active ingredient extracted from the Asian mushroom “Poria Cocos”. As a cosmetic ingredient, Poria Cocos Extract has anti-bacterial properties and can regulate skin hydration as well as work to help calm the epidermal nervous system. It acts as an astringent, toning and calming the skin by balancing the neuropeptides responsible for inflammation. It also offers protection from harmful environmental influences and is suitable for all skin types.
POTASSIUM CETYL PHOSPHATE
A surfactant and emulsifying agent used as a detergent and cleansing agent that is used in a variety of beauty products and cosmetics, including shampoos, facial cleansers, exfoliants, sunscreens, moisturizers, and make up removers.
The salt of Sorbic Acid. Sorbic Acid was first isolated from pressed unripened berries of the mountain ash tree. A wide spectrum antimicrobial, Potassium Sorbate is intended for inhibition of common microorganisms such as mould, yeast and bacteria.
PPG-3 BENZYL ETHER MYRISTATE
Present in any conditioning product as a silicone replacement.
ROSEMARY LEAF EXTRACT
The extract obtained from the leaves of the Romarinus Officials a Mediterranean plant stimulating and antioxidant properties, which helps to tighten skin.
A water-binding agent and emollient, it is an effective moisturizer containing natural carbohydrates found in the stratum corneum of human skin and is effective when used on parched hair.
Originating in Asia but now also growing in Europe, the fruit of this plant is rich in Vitamin C and contains malic and acetic acids as well as beneficial compounds known as flavonoids. Sea buckthorn is believed to have several topical benefits including helping to heal skin when applied to wounds, as well as being used as an antioxidant and in the treatment of acne.
SEA BUCKTHORN OIL
Sea Buckthorn Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides, made up of Beta Cerotene, Provitamin A and Vitamin E, helps protect the skin from UV radiation and free-radical damage. This easily absorbed oil supports the natural build-up of the skin’s lipid layers and possess anti-inflammatory properties.
A protein created by silkworms in the production of silk. Silk emitted by the silkworm consists mainly of two proteins, sericin and fibroin; fibroin being the structural center of the silk, and sericin being the gum coating the fibres and allowing them to stick to each other. Silk protein can have water-binding properties for skin. Silk protein is believed to have topical antioxidant properties. Properties of sericin that make it a successful ingredient in cosmetic products include its gelling ability, moisture retention capacity, and skin adhesion. As a result sericin alone or in combination with silk fibroin has been used in skin, hair, and nail cosmetics. SESAME SEED OIL

SODIUM C12-18 ALKYL SULFATE
Alkyl sulfate can be produced from alcohols, which in turn are obtained by hydrogenation of vegetable oils and fats. It is commonly used as an anionic surfactant in liquid soaps, shampoos and conditioners.
SODIUM CHLORIDE SEA SALT
Obtained by evaporating sea water, it is produced in many places such as Greece, France and Colombia. Sea salt is rich in minerals and is commonly used to gently polish and energize skin tone and texture.
Used primarily to control the pH level of a product, this ingredient also has antioxidant and preservative properties.
SODIUM COCOYL GLUTAMATE
A dispersant or surfactant that is made from coconut or palm oil and glucose from corn. Surfactants work as a gentle cleanser, it has excellent foaming properties, is environmentally-friendly and is well-tolerated by sensitive and allergic skin types.
SODIUM LAUROYL SARCOSINATE
Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate is an ionic surfactant derived from sarcosine. It is used as a foaming and cleansing agent in shampoo, toothpaste and wash products. Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate has the ability to enhance the appearance and feel of hair by improving body, suppleness and sheen, especially in hair that is chemically damaged.
SODIUM STEAROYL GLUTAMATE
A mild amino acid based emulsifier derived from natural and renewable resources. Created from coconut oil and Glutamic Acid, this gentle ingredient has excellent emulsion stabilizing and structuring properties and is environmentally friendly. It is well tolerated by sensitive skin types.

SOYA BEAN EXTRACT
A Potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent for skin, Soy is one of many phytochemicals that are biologically active against free radicals. Soy extract’s, Glycine Max Sprout, increasing use in anti-aging products is largely due to studies showing that its antioxidant has a collagen-stimulating effect and that various compounds in soy influence skin thickness and elasticity. Soy extract has also been shown to help protect against the effects of UVB exposure on skin cells.
SOYA SPROUT EXTRACT
Glycine Soja sprout extract is an extract of the young shoots of the soybean. It is classified as skin conditioning emollient.
A light–weight emollient that is most commonly derived from olives but in some cases wheat germ or rice bran. Hydrogenation of olive–derived squalane gives it stability and enables its use in skin care. It is a luxurious, non–comedogenic oil that the skin readily absorbs due to its similarity to the skin’s own sebum.
A fatty acid generally derived from natural vegetable oils such as palm or coconut. In creams and lotions this ingredient is used as a secondary emulsifier, structurant and consistency enhancing agent.
SUNFLOWER SEED OIL
A non-volatile, non-fragrant plant oil high in antioxidants and nutrients that is used as an emollient in cosmetics. It has the ability to help repair the skin’s barrier and reduce inflammation. Triheptanoin is a triester of glycerin and heptanoic acid. It is classified as viscosity controlling, surfactant and skin conditioning.
Vitamin E or Tocopherol can be derived from many plant oils, especially wheat germ, soy and oat. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that stimulates the immune system.
