AQUA (WATER)

Purified or distilled, water helps to provide consistency to creams, lotions and gels. It is also used as a carrier for plant extracts and a skin hydrating agent. 

AZADIRACHTA INDICA (NEEM) LEAF EXTRACT

Widely utilized in Ayurveda medicine to treat health-related problems and ailments, neem leaf extract is known to exert anti-cancer, antioxidant, wound healing, and anti-microbial properties. Used in hair oils and conditioners, its excellence as a skin remedy are also undeniable, it can be used as a potent cure for acne, pimples and blemishes. 

BEER

The aesthetic benefits of incorporating Beer into a beauty routine can be astounding.  With its low pH, Beer helps to tighten hair follicles as well as remove dirt, grease and build up from hair. The yeast found in Beer is also good for fighting acne because it helps slow down sebum production, decreasing pimples. It is also a good source of B vitamins, protein, selenium, potassium, iron, zinc, and magnesium.

BENZIOC ACID

Benzoic acid is an ingredient that is common in many types of skin care products. In its natural state, benzoic acid is colourless and is found in a variety of plants, including apricots, cranberries, mushrooms and jasmine. 

BISABOLOL (CHAMOMILE)

A naturally occurring compound that is generally extracted from German Chamomile. It is a potent anti–irritant that helps to soothe delicate, sensitive skin. 

BUTYROSPERMUM PARKII (SHEA BUTTER)

Derived from the kernels of the African Karite Tree. Naturally infused with antioxidant Vitamin E, this emollient is renowned for its moisturizing, softening and soothing skin benefits.

CALENDULA OFFICINALIS (CALENDULA) FLOWER EXTRACT

An important healing herb which contains numerous compounds including carotenoids, flavonoids, tannins, saponins and essential oils, this nourishing botanical possesses powerful healing, anti–inflammatory, antiseptic and astringent properties and is employed in personal care preparations to promote skin regeneration and discourage infection. 

CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE

A fatty mixture of glycerides, mainly derived from plant oils such as Coconut Oil. A quick penetrating and light–weight emollient, used for its skin conditioning and smoothing properties.

CAPRYLYL GLYCOL

A multifunctional ingredient that serves as an emollient and humectant as well as an efficient anti–microbial agent. It has bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties for the effective preservation against bacteria and fungi.

CARAMEL

A beige to dark-brown product most widely recognized for its use in confectionary that is made by heating a variety of sugars. Caramel has been used in the personal care industry as a natural colorant for many years and its use and popularity continue to grow with the increasing demand for natural beauty products.

CERA ALBA BEESWAX

A natural wax produced in the bee hive of honey bees of the genus Apis. White Beeswax is made by a simple, non–chemical bleaching process. It is commonly used as a thickener, emulsifier and structuring agent in personal care products.

CETYL ALCOHOL (DERIVED FROM PLANTS)

A fatty alcohol derived from plants (palm oil-palmityl alcohol) Cetyl Alcohol comes in the form of a white, waxy solid and Works as an emollient, emulsifier, thickener and carrying agent for other ingredients contained in a cosmetic solution. As a thickening agent and surfactant, it helps alter the viscosity and increase the foaming capacity of non-aqueous (i.e. lotions) and aqueous solutions (i.e. shampoo). Cetyl Alcohol is well known to effectively condition and soften the skin and hair.

CETEARYL ALCOHOL

A fatty alcohol that is commonly derived from plant oils such as Palm or Coconut. It has a wax–like texture and is used in creams and lotions for its emulsifying, emollient and thickening properties.

CETYL STEARATE

In cosmetics and personal care products, stearate esters are used most frequently in the formulation of eye makeup, skin makeup, lipstick and skin care products. Stearate esters act primarily as lubricants on the skin's surface, which gives the skin a soft and smooth appearance. They have the unique properties of low viscosity and an oily nature, which results in a non-greasy, hydrophobic film when applied to the skin or lips.

CHOLESTEROL

A lipid and sterol (unsaturated solid alcohol present in fatty tissue) that is plant derived. It comes in the form of a naturally waxy fat-like substance. Cholesterol works as a skin conditioner, thickening agent, stabilizer and water binding agent. Because the skin's natural lipid barrier comprises of cholesterol, this ingredient helps maintain proper functioning in the epidermis by retaining moisture levels and regulating cell activity. It works to strengthen the outer structure of the skin and protect it from dehydration.

CITRAL

Citral is known to have strong antimicrobial properties. It naturally occurs in pure essential oils such as Lemon, Lime, Lemongrass and Orange.

CITRIC ACID

Exists in a variety of fruits and vegetables, most notably citrus fruits. Lemons and Limes have particularly high concentrations of the acid. Citric acid is used to optimize the pH of a formulation as well as help to refine and renew skin texture. Synthetic or naturally derived, Citric acid is one of the most widely used acids in the cosmetic industry.

CITRONELLOL

Citronellol is a naturally occurring component of essential oils, such as Geranium Oil, Muscatel Sage, Sandalwood and Citronella Oil. 

CITRUS AURANTIUM AMARA (NEROLI) FLOWER OIL

Neroli Oil is extracted from the flowers of Citrus Aurantium Amara of the Rutaceae family. Neroli has great therapeutic properties including a relaxing effect on the mind and body as well as a regenerative and rejuvenating effect on the skin, helping to fight stretch marks and broken capillaries.

COCONUT ALKANES

Coconut Alkanes is the product obtained from the complete reduction and hydrogenation of a mixture of fatty acids derived from Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil. It is classified as a solvent emollient and provides a smooth feel whilst improving spread-ability.

COCUS NUCIFERA (COCONUT) OIL

Coconut oil is a natural oil extracted from the meat of the coconut fruit .There are many benefits of coconut oil for the skin. Because the lauric acid in coconut oil has anti-bacterial properties, research suggests it may be an effective tool in the fight against acne. In addition, coconut oil has moisturizing properties and is a good hair conditioner because it coats the hair shaft and helps it hold on to moisture. It also appears to be useful for the prevention and treatment of dandruff due to its anti-fungal properties.

COCO–CAPRYLATE/CAPRATE

A quick penetrating and light–weight emollient that is mainly derived from Coconut Oil. Used for its skin conditioning and smoothing properties, it provides high hydration and superb spread ability.

COCO–GLUCOSIDE

Coco Glucoside/Glyceryl Oleate blend is based on natural vegetable feedstock: Coconut Oil, Palm Kernel Oil, Sunflower Oil and Maize. It is an alkyl polyglycoside and fatty acid monoglyceride composite that is used in the development of body cleansing preparations. This ingredient is known to enhance lipid layers, improve viscosity and foaming, condition and moisturize the skin and hair. It is mild to skin and biodegradable. 

COMMIPHORA MUKUL RESIN EXTRACT

Commiphora Mukul Resin Extract is an extract of the resin of Commiphora mukul taken from India’s Mukul Myrrh tree. It is classified as tonic skin conditioning but also shows benefits on skin firmness when applied topically.

COMMIPHORA MYRRHA (MYRRH) EXTRACT

Extracted from Commiphora Myrrha of the Burseraceae family, Myrrh extract has a warm musty smell with a pale yellow to amber colour. Used in ancient medicine and cosmetics, it is an antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial and is used with great success on boils, skin ulcers, bedsores, chapped and cracked skin, weeping wounds, acne and eczema.

COPERNICIA CERIFERA (CANAUBA) WAX

Is known as "queen of waxes" and in its pure state, usually comes in the form of hard yellow-brown flakes. It is obtained from the leaves of the carnauba palm by collecting and drying them, beating them to loosen the wax, then refining and bleaching the wax. In cosmetics plant waxes such as canauba wax are used in the formulation a wide range of products. They help to keep an emulsion from separating into its oil and liquid components, especially in cosmetics and personal care products that require a creamy consistency.

EUGENOL

A clear to pale yellow liquid that has a spicy clove-like aroma. Eugenol, a naturally occurring substance found in many plants, is used to make fragrances and flavors. In cosmetics and personal care products, Eugenol is used in the formulation of bath products, fragrances, hair care products, moisturizers, shampoos and skin care products.

FARNESOL

Farnesol is a colorless, oily liquid with a delicate sweet odor that has a long history of use in perfumery. It is present in many essential oils such as citronella, neroli, lemon grass, tuberose, rose, musk and balsam. In cosmetics and personal care products, farnesol is used in the formulation of a wide variety of products including cleansing products, colognes, deodorants, eye lotions, hair care products, moisturizers, shaving products and skin care products.

FRUIT EXTRACT (VITAMIN E)

Fruit extract is commonly used to heal parched and dehydrated skin. Vitamin E or alpha-tocopherol is a fat-soluble antioxidant that is predominantly found in green leafy vegetables, nuts and seeds, seafood, and fruits. Vitamin E acts as a moisturizer, reverses premature aging, treats sunburn and stretch marks and lightens dark spots. It also can be used for hair health, preventing split ends and premature greying as well as stimulating hair growth and creating visually more lustrous hair. 

GERANIOL

Geraniol is a monoterpenoid and an alcohol. It is the primary part of rose oil, palmarosa oil, and citronella oil. It also occurs in small quantities in geranium, lemon, and many other essential oils. It appears as a clear to pale-yellow oil that is insoluble in water, but soluble in most common organic solvents. It has a rose-like scent and is commonly used in perfumes.

GLYCERIN

A building block of all fats and oils. In the manufacturing of natural glycerin, crude glycerin is produced by first refining and condensing an aqueous solution obtained from hydrolysis of Coconut or Palm Oil, then further distilling and refining the solution until arriving at the finished product. Glycerin is an excellent humectant and moisturizer that regulates the absorption and release of water in the skin.

GLYCERYL OLEATE

Glyceryl Oleate is based on natural vegetable feedstock. It is an alkyl polyglycoside and fatty acid monoglyceride composite that is used in the development of body cleansing preparations. This ingredient is known to enhance lipid layers, improve viscosity and foaming and condition and moisturize skin and hair. It is mild to skin, biodegradable and contains no ethylene oxide or nitrogen.

GLYCERYL STEARATE

Made from stearic fatty acid (Palm Oil derived) and vegetable glycerin (Coconut derived). It works as an emollient, secondary emulsifier, stabilizer and thickening agent in creams and lotions. 

GLYCINE MAX SPROUT (SOYA BEAN) EXTRACT

A Potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent for skin, Soy is one of many phytochemicals that are biologically active against free radicals. Soy extract’s increasing use in anti-aging products is largely due to studies showing that its antioxidant has a collagen-stimulating effect and that various compounds in soy influence skin thickness and elasticity. Soy extract has also been shown to help protect against the effects of UVB exposure on skin cells.

GLYCINE SOJA (SOYA) SPROUT EXTRACT

Glycine Soja sprout extract is an extract of the young shoots of the soybean. It is classified as skin conditioning emollient.

HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL

A non-volatile, non-fragrant plant oil high in antioxidants and nutrients that is used as an emollient in cosmetics. It has the ability to help repair the skin’s barrier and reduce inflammation. Sunflower oil contains a host of beneficial properties that the skin can use to help maintain moisture and keep wrinkles at bay. It is also extremely powerful at keeping away bacteria, making it excellent for acne sufferers and also contains a rich mixture of vitamins and other natural substances that have a healthy effect on your skin and its pores. Sunflower seed oil is high in antioxidants including Vitamin E and nutrients such as Palmitic acid, Stearic acid, Lecithin, Tocopherols, Carotenoids, Selenium, Proteins, Copper, Iron, Zinc, Calcium, Omega-6 fatty acids.

HIBISCUS SABDARIFFA FLOWER EXTRACT

An extract of the flowers of the Red Sorrel Grown in India. In Ayurveda, hibiscus is known as Jaswand or Jabakusum depending on specific towns. Hibiscus is commonly consumed as a tea for a plethora of conditions. Certain cultures have been using it for beauty purposes for millennia and some of the benefits include, encouraged hair growth, split end prevention and thicker hair.

HIPPOPHAE RHAMNOIDES (SEA BUCKTHORN)

Originating in Asia but now also growing in Europe, the fruit of this plant is rich in Vitamin C and contains malic and acetic acids as well as beneficial compounds known as flavonoids. Sea buckthorn is believed to have several topical benefits including helping to heal skin when applied to wounds, as well as being used as an antioxidant and in the treatment of acne. 

HIPPOPHAE RHAMNOIDES (SEA BUCKTHORN) OIL

Sea Buckthorn Oil, made up of Beta Cerotene, Provitamin A and Vitamin E, helps protect the skin from UV radiation and free-radical damage. This easily absorbed oil supports the natural build-up of the skin’s lipid layers and possess anti-inflammatory properties.

HYDROGENTATED CASTOR OIL

Hydrogenated Castor Oil is an amber colored, slightly viscous liquid that has a naturally mildly fatty odor. It is used in cosmetics and beauty products as an emulsifier, surfactant, and fragrance ingredient.

HYDROGENTATED PALM GLYCERIDES CITRATE

Palm glycerides are the fatty acid component of palm oil.

HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OIL

Vegetable Oil is an expressed oil of vegetable origin consisting primarily of triglycerides of fatty acids. The addition of hydrogen atoms to Vegetable Oil results in Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil. Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil slows the loss of water from the skin by forming a barrier on the skin's surface, helping to keep the skin hydrated.

HYDROLYZED CORN STARCH

Hydrolyzed corn starch is obtained by the hydrolysis of corn starch by the action of acids or enzymes and is classified as viscosity controlling and skin conditioning.

HYDROLYZED WHEAT PROTEIN

A low-molecular weight protein derived from soft wheat. It provides amino acids & high glutamine levels to skin and hair as well as other properties that help to increase firmness of the skin, nourish and soften hair and make hair appear more volumized. Hydrolysed wheat protein also acts to retain moisture in the skin, protecting it from drying out and making it soft and conditioned whilst reducing the appearance of wrinkles. 

HYDROXYPROPYL GUAR (GUAR GUM)

A resinous material made from the guar bean. Hydroxypropyl Guar is a derivative of Guar Gum that is used in cosmetics and personal care products such as skin and haircare solutions. 

INDIAN GOOSEBERRY

Is a century old Indian secret to healthy hair. Indigenous throughout India, Amla as it is also known, is a green fruit that is incredibly high in tannin compounds and has 20 x more concentrated vitamin C than an orange, making it one of the most powerful antioxidants. Amla is a superb natural conditioner that infuses hair with nutrition that protects against environmental aggressors, whilst working to strengthen follicles, promote growth and help diminish split ends, dryness and dandruff.

LACTIC ACID

Traditionally lactic acid is produced through fermentation of plant derived carbohydrates. Its known benefits include exfoliation, moisturization, reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, skin firming and brightening. 

LAURYL GLUCOSIDE

A naturally derived non–ionic, sugar–based surfactant prepared by combining corn starch glucose with natural fatty alcohol (from coconut oil). Due to its natural origin, this cleansing agent is very mild and readily biodegradable. It provides excellent foaming and is commonly used in cleansers for sensitive skin.

LAURYL LAURATE

Lauryl Laurate wax is a plant-based (coconut and palm derived), "mono-ester" and low melting point wax. It is used to improve slip and increase the ability of oils to penetrate and moisturize the skin whilst achieving a non-greasy effect. Lauryl Laurate has many properties consistent with other long chain organic molecules, such as fatty acids. It is used as a skin conditioning agent, binder, emulsifier, hair conditioning agent and opacifying agent. 

LEONTOPODIUM ALPINUM (EDELWEISS) EXTRACT

Since Edelweiss is extremely rare and thrives best on exposed, poorly accessible slopes, this precious flower became a symbol of eternal love. Today, the Edelweiss is a protected alpine flower. Over the centuries, the robust and durable plant has developed essential properties which allow it to survive in the harsh mountain conditions. Thus, the Edelweiss produces extremely powerful, natural antioxidants and cell elasticity-enhancing properties which can be specifically put to use in cosmetics for it outstanding anti-ageing effect. 

LIMONENE

A natural compound that occurs in pure essential oils found in the citrus family. 

LINALOOL

A natural compound that occurs in pure essential oils such Lavender, Sweet Basil and Coriander. 

MORINGA

With an impressive oleic acid content of 72%, moringa contains 47 potent antioxidants, 36 anti-inflammatory compounds, 18 essential amino acids, 7 x the vitamin C of an orange, 3 times the iron of an almond, 4 x the calcium of milk and twice as much the vitamin A found in a carrot. The incredible rejuvenating properties of this light, luxurious oil penetrate deeply into skin and hair so depleted minerals and vitamins can repair and revive naturally. When massaged regularly into the scalp and roots, moringa helps bring hair back into balance so it grows stronger, fuller and glossier. MORINGA OLEIFERA LEAF EXTRACT (MORINGA)

A highly valued and versatile plant which belongs to the Moringaceae family. Although modern science has only recently discovered its value, moringa has been imparting a multitude of benefits across various cultures since ancient times. Moringa was valued by the Romans, Egyptians and Greeks for its medicinal uses. It is extremely effective in cleansing, purifying and protecting hair from environmental damage. It also serves as a valuable conditioner for the scalp, strengthens the roots, and stimulates hair growth. The hydrating and detoxifying effects of moringa extract also helps in neutralizing the effects of harmful pollutants, prevents wrinkles, and slowing premature aging. 

MORINGA OLEIFERA SEED OIL

Moringa seed oil comes from the seeds of Moringa Oleifera Tree. These are extremely rich in phytonutrients and make a great impact on your overall health. It is famous for its Anti-aging, pollution and acne fighting abilities as well as its general healing properties when used on the skin. It is also excellent at fighting dandruff, moisturizing the scalp, strengthening hair and preventing split ends. 

PALMITIC ACID

A fatty acid generally derived from natural vegetable oils such as palm and palm kernel oil. In creams and lotions this ingredient is used as a secondary emulsifier, structurant and consistency enhancing agent. 

PANTHENOL

An alcohol form of Vitamin B5, also called Pro–Vitamin B5. It is a component derived from rice, and rice husk and is deeply moisturizing, conditioning and healing with a long history of safe use.

PARFUM (FRAGRANCE)

A mixture of fragrant essential oils or aroma compounds used to provide a pleasant scent. Indian texts and archaeological excavations show the use of perfumes in some of the earliest tribal civilizations. We only use non-allergenic scents for our fragrance.

PCA GLYCERYL OLEATE

A natural conditioner obtained from vegetable oils and sugar.

PHOSPHOLIPIDS

A type of lipid composed of glycerol, fatty acids, and phosphate. Phospholipids are derived from various sources including soy bean oil and egg yolks. Phospholipids are essential to the function of cell membranes by providing a stable surrounding structure. In cosmetics, phospholipids are often used as natural emulsifiers or for encapsulation of sensitive benefit agents.

PHRAGMITES COMMUNIS HERB EXTRACT

Phragmites communis is an impressive Chinese herb with medicinal value. The main medicinal parts of this herb are its roots (Lu Gen) and stems (Wei Jing), which have very similar medicinal properties since they come from the same plant. It is known for is high antioxidative properties. 

PHYLLLANTHUS EMBLICA (INDIAN GOOSEBERRY) FRUIT EXTRACT

A standardized extract isolated from the Phylllanthus Emblica fruit – one of the important Ayurvedic Indian herbs which have been used for thousands of years. A powerful cascading antioxidant and age–defying ingredient with proven skin brightening effects, it helps to provide natural skin tone, reduce hyperpigmentation and fine lines. 

POLYGLYCERYL-4 CAPRATE

An ester of Capric Acid and Polyglycerin-4 and a natural emulsifier and solublizer. Polyglyceryl-4 is a skin conditioning agent that has a positive influence on skin structure.

POTASSIUM CETYL PHOSPHATE

A surfactant and emulsifying agent used as a detergent and cleansing agent that is used in a variety of beauty products and cosmetics, including shampoos, facial cleansers, exfoliants, sunscreens, moisturizers, and make up removers. 

POTASSIUM SORBATE

The salt of Sorbic Acid. Sorbic Acid was first isolated from pressed unripened berries of the mountain ash tree. A wide spectrum antimicrobial, Potassium Sorbate is intended for inhibition of common microorganisms such as mould, yeast and bacteria.

PORIA COCOS EXTRACT

A premium active ingredient extracted from the Asian mushroom "Poria Cocos". As a cosmetic ingredient, Poria Cocos Extract has anti-bacterial properties and can regulate skin hydration as well as work to help calm the epidermal nervous system. It acts as an astringent, toning and calming the skin by balancing the neuropeptides responsible for inflammation. It also offers protection from harmful environmental influences and is suitable for all skin types. 

PPG-3 BENZYL ETHER MYRISTATE

Present in any conditioning product as a silicone replacement.

PRINSEPIA UTILIS (HIMALAYAN WILD CHERRY OIL)

A genus of trees that bears fruit which look like a cherry. The various species grow largely in Nepal, India, China, Bangladesh, and Taiwan. It is very effective when used in skincare and especially beneficial when used to treat skin conditions such as eczema. 

PRUNUS ARMENIACA (APRICOT) KERNEL OIL

Apricot kernel oil is obtained from the seeds of apricot fruits by cold pressing and filtration. Rich in gamma linoleic acid (GLA) and vitamins, this oil is considered to be non–comedogenic and beneficial to all skin types including aged skin, sensitive skin and dry and inflamed skin.

PUNICA GRANATUM (POMEGRANATE) SEED OIL

Pomegranate is an ancient fruit with exceptionally rich ethno medical applications. It contains high levels of polyphenols. In studies pomegranate seed oil was shown to stimulate keratinocyte proliferation thereby promoting regeneration of epidermis, helping to repair skin and even out the skin tone. 

RICINUS COMMUNIS (CASTOR) SEED OIL

The castor bean or castor-oil-plant is a species of flowering plant in the spurge family, Euphorbiaceae. Its seed is the castor bean, which, despite its name, is not a true bean. Castor is indigenous to the southeastern Mediterranean Basin, Eastern Africa, and India, but is widespread throughout tropical regions. When used in cosmetics and skin care, castor seed oil works as a skin conditioning, cleansing and emulsifying agent.

ROSMARINUS OFFICINALIS (ROSEMARY) LEAF EXTRACT

The extract obtained from the leaves of the Mediterranean rosemary plant has stimulating and antioxidant properties, it helps to tighten skin. 

SACCHARIDE ISOMERATE

A water-binding agent and emollient, it is an effective moisturizer containing natural carbohydrates found in the stratum corneum of human skin and is effective when used on parched hair.

SERICIN

A protein created by silkworms in the production of silk. Silk emitted by the silkworm consists mainly of two proteins, sericin and fibroin; fibroin being the structural center of the silk, and sericin being the gum coating the fibres and allowing them to stick to each other. Silk protein can have water-binding properties for skin. Silk protein is believed to have topical antioxidant properties. Properties of sericin that make it a successful ingredient in cosmetic products include its gelling ability, moisture retention capacity, and skin adhesion. As a result sericin alone or in combination with silk fibroin has been used in skin, hair, and nail cosmetics. Sericin when used in the form of lotion, cream and ointment shows increased skin elasticity, anti-wrinkle, and antiaging effects. Hair preparations containing sericin show reducing damage of hair surface.

SESAMUM INDICUM (SESAME) SEED OIL

The sesame plant yields yellow or black seeds which produce a high quality oil. The light–weight Sesame seed oil is rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants that help replenish and protect dry, sensitive skin.

SIMMONDSIA CHINENSIS (JOJOBA) SEED OIL

Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil is a natural ingredient derived from the seeds of the desert shrub, Simmondsia chinensis. SODIUM C12-18 ALKYL SULFATE

Alkyl sulfate can be produced from alcohols, which in turn are obtained by hydrogenation of vegetable oils and fats. It is commonly used as an anionic surfactant in liquid soaps, shampoos and conditioners.

SODIUM BENZOATE

Sodium benzoate, or the sodium salt of benzoic acid, is a material that has been used for decades as an effective preservative in the personal care industry. Sodium benzoate, which occurs in nature, works in synergy with gluconolactone to provide broad spectrum antimicrobial protection.

SODIUM CHLORIDE SEA SALT

Obtained by evaporating sea water, it is produced in many places such as Greece, France and Colombia. Sea salt is rich in minerals and is commonly used to gently polish and energize skin tone and texture. 

SODIUM CITRATE

Used primarily to control the pH level of a product, this ingredient also has antioxidant and preservative properties.

SODIUM COCOYL GLUTAMATE

A dispersant or surfactant that is made from coconut or palm oil and glucose from corn. Surfactants work as a gentle cleanser, it has excellent foaming properties, is environmentally-friendly and is well-tolerated by sensitive and allergic skin types.

SODIUM LAUROYL SARCOSINATE

Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate is an ionic surfactant derived from sarcosine. It is used as a foaming and cleansing agent in shampoo, toothpaste and wash products. Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate has the ability to enhance the appearance and feel of hair by improving body, suppleness and sheen, especially in hair that is chemically damaged.

SODIUM STEAROYL GLUTAMATE

A mild amino acid based emulsifier derived from natural and renewable resources. Created from coconut oil and Glutamic Acid, this gentle ingredient has excellent emulsion stabilizing and structuring properties and is environmentally friendly. It is well tolerated by sensitive skin types. 

SORBIC ACID

A naturally occurring compound, this unsaturated fatty acid is used primarily in the formulation of facial and eye makeup, skin care and hair products.

SQUALANE

 A light–weight emollient that is most commonly derived from olives but in some cases wheat germ or rice bran. Hydrogenation of olive–derived squalane gives it stability and enables its use in skin care. It is a luxurious, non–comedogenic oil that the skin readily absorbs due to its similarity to the skin's own sebum.

STEARIC ACID

A fatty acid generally derived from natural vegetable oils such as palm or coconut. In creams and lotions this ingredient is used as a secondary emulsifier, structurant and consistency enhancing agent.

TOCOPHEROL (VITAMIN E)

Tocopherol or Vitamin E can be derived from many plant oils, especially wheat germ, soy and oat. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that stimulates the immune system. The ozone present in polluted air decreases Vitamin E content in the stratus corneum, accelerating oxidation and destruction of membrane lipids, which in turns causes skin issues. For this reason, it is important to apply tocopherol topically to replenish the Vitamin E lost by the action of ozone on skin. 

TRIGONELLA FOENUM-GRAECUM SEED EXTRACT (FENUGREEK)

The seeds of the Fenugreek are the element of the plant most widely used in cosmetic products,  their fiber content helps thicken and contribute bulk to products. 

TRIHEPTANOIN

Triheptanoin is a triester of glycerin and heptanoic acid. It is classified as viscosity controlling, surfactant and skin conditioning. 

VANILLA PLANIFOLIA FRUIT EXTRACT

Vanilla planifolia is a tropical orchid, which is a native of Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. Vanilla planifolia is the only member of the orchid family that is grown and harvested on an industrial scale. The pods of the vanilla planifolia are harvested and dried. They are then used to produce natural vanilla flavoring and scent. The extract is used primarily as a fragrance and flavoring agent. The vanilla plant is a source of catechins (also known as polyphenols), which have antioxidant activity and serve as anti-inflammatory agents. 

WILD HIMALAYAN APRICOT OIL

Himalayan Apricot Oil is made from apricot kernels harvested from pesticide free wild apricot trees. XANTHAN GUM

A polysaccharide produced by a process involving fermentation of sugar syrup (glucose or sucrose) by bacterium Xanthomonas campestris. It is used in personal care products as an emulsion stabilizer and rheology modifier.
